Turn and look away
There's nothing here to see
I'll be gone in a couple days
And you'll be glad to be rid of me
Out on the streets at night
"I think he's a friend of mine"
Isn't it hideous
Abominations against our own kind
Lying in the road
They always die alone
With nowhere left to go
They're so easy to dispose
So turn and look away
Pretend to care another day
And in the end, you'll always know
That we're waiting down below
I have listened to this album so many times I know it like the back of my hand. Yet, no matter how many times I hear it, it always seems fresh and new, which is a rare thing indeed. ghaseloff
A lovely EP with a mix of label-mates like Night Sins and Captive, a goth-y 'Mezcal' era Swervedriver and a nice coloring of Sisters Of Mercy. This EP is kind of like all-night-bar-dark-eyes stoically wincing at the morning light. Really good stuff. brantly
Featured this album on the seventh issue of RULE of THREE (http://bit.ly/RULEofTHREEbc). Rites and Rituals is an instant classic paying respect to 80's post-punk bands from Chameleons to Gene Loves Jezebel with a modern twist and stand-out vocals. Gallows Hill is a perfect mix of 80's nostalgia, modern post-punk and - dare I say it - pop. Christian Schaefer
♠️Woaw... again some good eighties goth dark reminiscence. Dancing drums bring joy to the darkest side. And Darkwave is still alive. Thanks "FoReVeR" 🌹 Jack music Life
